The Geran Digital PMKS Madani is a government initiative to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (PMKS) adopt digital solutions. It provides a 50% matching grant of up to RM5,000 for digital services. GDPM is an initiative under:
Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC),
Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN Bank), and the
Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)
GDPM was specifically designed for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to enhance the digitalisation of their day-to-day business operations by enabling them to acquire digital services from registered Digitalisation Partners (DP) approved by MDEC.
You are eligible if your business:
- Is at least 60% Malaysian-owned
- Is registered with SSM, PBT (local authority), or SKM (for cooperatives)
- Has been operating for at least 6 months
- Has a minimum annual turnover of RM50,000
*Has not received previous PMKS grants. Under GDPM 2025, previous PMKS grants receivers are allowed to reapply only for e-invoicing and AI services.

The grant covers 50% of the cost for selected digital services, including:
- Digital marketing
- e-POS and online payment systems
- Accounting and tax systems
- HR and payroll software
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- ERP systems
- Cybersecurity solutions
- Digital signatures
- IoT and smart systems
Note: Hardware or physical equipment is not covered under GDPM 2025.
A Digitalisation Partner (DP) is a service provider registered and approved by MDEC or BSN to deliver eligible digital solutions. Businesses must get quotes from a listed DP to apply for the GDPM 2025.
The grant covers 50% of the service cost, up to a maximum of RM5,000. The remaining 50% must be paid by the applicant upon approval.
- Get a quotation from an approved Digitalisation Partner
- Submit your application through Funding Societies Malaysia or via the DP
- If approved, you are required to pay 50% of the service cost via Funding Societies
- After payment is received, DP delivers the service and submits a claim
- The grant is disbursed to the DP after verification
Yes, you can apply for up to 3 digital services, as long as the total grant amount does not exceed RM5,000.
The turn around time for GDPM 2025 review is 3 business days. Kindly note that this may take longer time subject to the final review from Funding Societies.
No. If you have previously received any grant under the Geran Digital PMKS or Geran Digital Penjaja Madani, you are not eligible to reapply. **refer to question 2 for further details.

- Only pay the 50% service fee via the link provided in the grant approval email by Funding Societies
- Verify information with official sources like MDEC, MCMC, or Funding Societies
CTOS is providing the service of Credit Manager under Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- A copy of the identification card or passport of the Sole Proprietor / Director / Partner of PMKS / Cooperative-appointed representative, as applicable.
- A copy of the PMKS registration license (SSM or any similar form under the Companies Act 2016). For Cooperatives, a copy of the registration certificate from the Malaysian Cooperative Commission (SKM).
- Latest audited financial statements or the latest financial management account statement or PMKS/Cooperative bank statements for the last two (2) months (all documents must be certified by the statement provider).

Yes, Funding Societies will notify to all applicants on the status of the grant approval (both approved / rejected). For rejected application, the reason will also be provided.
Yes, with all the conditions in Question 2 met.
No. There are no fees required for GDPM 2025 and application is free. However, the government has announced the allocation for GDPM 2025 is RM50m and once the fund is fully depleted, no further application will be considered.
The grant approved will be cancelled and you will need to re-apply again. However, there is no guarantee that the subsequent applications will be approved again due to various factors.
